This is fantastic! I was looking at the 40 semifinalists and his one stood out above all the others - I can't believe you didn't win the grand prize! Anyway, great job and I hope you sell tons of prints!

I like how you put in a lot of thought into this piece and you pulled it off wonderfully!
did you know that Kendra sported an afro from her own hair for a Halloween party! it looked mint..so this picture reminds of that!!
goodluck with the contest!

My mom died from complications due to breast cancer on Saturday, but pieces like this keep my hopes up that they will find a cure so other people can keep their moms a little bit longer.

This is certainly an excellent piece (love the butterflies and the necklace) and it's always great to get the word out about breast cancer, BUT...
Susan G.Komen is actually a terrible non-prof. There's a lot of mismanagement of funds and most of their donations are tied up in overhead. In other words, most if not all of the money that's donated to them directly or through buying their "special" pink-ribbon products just goes right back into promoting more of their products.
I'm in a student group at college called Women in Leadership and Learning. We're holding a week-long Global Women's Health Fair in April and we are NOT inviting Susan G. Komen to participate for just this reason.

oh real? that's not so great to hear :<
i hope that the entries for this competition, regardless of the promoter of the campaign, still goes towards raising awareness for breast cancer in general, though :<
