Description Okayyy !

Well I'm a little late, but I had problems with my files and stuff like that (aww stupid mistakes that I made...) So I had to redo it all again tonight....anyway.

This was for the horror and macabre week. It's how I do my fake blood recipe, thought I could share it with you guys

Let me know if you try it! (and if you like or dislike it! ^^)

Like I said, this is just a way to make fake blood. Of course, depending on the person, where the blood came from, the tempature, things like that, the color and thickness will vary.
Our blood isn't all the same color, or the same thickness ^^


And if you want to use it in your mouth, just skip the soap part , It won't hurt you to do it with the soap, because it's just soap, but it might not taste as good !

Im not answering for the person who made this.. but from what I've seen you can get corn syrup at most local grocery stores with a baking section...

i learned this from some show i cant remember, but it was about making faces outa latex and a sorta contest to see whod be the next horror make up artist or something, but the oint is, every horror makeup producer has there own little recipe they use to make blood. usually no 2 are the same. some use actual pig organs and what not, others use food, and some just use chemicals that mix well. so in my opinion you are a pro.

This might be a stupid question but here goes xP
I'm not quite sure what corn syrup is, I've never bought it for baking or anything, but I have TONNNES of Golden Syrup, which is sorta the same colour only a little darker, and I'm guessing it would have the same consistancy.. Do you think it would it still work ? :3

Heyy !! OMG so sorry for the late reply ! I've just spent 5 weeks in England !I'm finally back replying to my messages!

No worries, no questions are stupid! Corn syrup is basicly the sweet things, some people put on like pancakes, etc. Golden syrup will work ^^

Haha yes, 5 weeks ! Hahahaha, well It was my first time , and I was visiting my bf, spent xmas and new year there ^^ and visited some touristy things in London. I stayed in Cambridge...and I thought it was really pretty there ! ^^

Hmm, to be honest, I would say no, since there's a lot of food colouring, you might have a pinkish or orangish stain =/ , I personally wouldn't recommand it ! ^^

I have to try this recipe. The blood in your "Blood pool" pic looks insanely good. Exact as dark as I want it and it has the perfect thickness/flow.

My god im so sorry it took so long for me to reply. You probably already have your food colouring by now. Any brand will do, I just have some from the grocery store. Well I got it from a bulk store so I have like...liters of food colouring haha.

I think a good way to get rid of the nasty orange tint, that shows how fake it is [no offense ment]would be to add a drop of blue, with out adding so much it turns purple. . .cause before oxygen hits your blood it is blue after all! XD

Though, depending on where the blood is coming from (organ blood, lung blood, small cut) the colouring is different, Also the tempature, if the person is on blood thinners, how long the blood was there for, etc. So it really depends

I find that blood that looks too dark is not always right, adding blue makes it... just a tad too dark, almost coagulated colour.
I find that blood has more of an orangy tint to it when spread. not as pink.
But hey whatever floats your boat, i'm fine with everybodies opinion ^^

lawl that is true. . .I think the bluer stuff is good for say, slit throat, any artery really I guess, and if you wanna make it look like your heart was torn out XD unno, I guess those types of wounds suit me XD

you blood is actually blue when it's in your body when it's traveling back to your heart, that's why your veins are blue.

Are you insane? Veins AND arteries are transparent, they only LOOK that way due to the concentration of oxygen or carbon dioxide in the blood that flows through them mixed with the colour of your skin

Get yourself the Netter Human Anatomy Atlas and you'll see that arteries are blue/red only in books so you don't get lost ¬¬

First time I did it,I used too much syrup thingy, so it looked kinda weird, but second time it got better xD I bought a camera yesterday, so if I do it again(wich I probably will)I can take a picture (wich I'll probably forget )
