Description I don't know how this idea hit me, but I got into a centaur mood last Saturday. I've always loved Leela as a centaur on "Bender's Game," and I threw in another idea. I somehow thought of the 1971 movie "Escape from the Planet of the Apes" where the apes arrived in a space ship off the coast of California. I love the idea of a space suit and little "booties" for each of her four hooves. I also like the handy pockets on the suit. "That's one small trot for centaur, one giant gallop for centaur-kind."

This one's funny given that I call myself Spaceman.  A centaur astronaut?  Epic!

I named myself after a radio host who had the same nickname who used to broadcast in my city.  He talked slowly in a deep, dramatic voice.  His show covered conspiracy topics generally about the Illuminati and the New World Order.

The 130 is the sum of the letters in my real name (A=1, B=2, etc.)

I got it from the intro to "Escape from the Planet of the Apes"  www.youtube.com/watch?v=eY-6Kp…

I have to admit that every time I see your name it reminds me of the old Byrds song from 1966:  www.youtube.com/watch?v=vldv3r…

Thanks! I have several modern centaur gags I want to do at some point.

Wow, what a creature to see come out from a space ship.

I had to put a ramp on the ship for her...

Well, what kind of centaur-alien wouldn't have a ramp?

Really, the whole ship would have to be designed differently than one for humans.

Indeed, but that's the fun part, isn't it?

I wonder if they have technology to create depth perception?

Ya know, I once asked my optometrist about that, and they said that a cyclops would have problems with that. When I did my little re-design of Leela, I gave her an oval eyeball to aid with peripheral vision.

I wonder if her glasses would have varying levels of thicknesses?

Good question...I was just amused that the optometrist lady would answer a question like that. BTW, I've also written about retina scanners that only work for cyclopes.
