That is true...Pate's Spear does have a faster follow up, but you'd have to either have a good build to make Pate's Spear out-damage Creighton's Axe, or you'd just have to get lucky with animation canceling and what not. But even still, I've got Creighton's back all the way~ Even if Pate's voice is very dreamy...

Well thats actually debatable. Yes Pate uses a very similar set of weapons and armor to what Patches uses, and yes, both men are presumably bald, but heres whats debatable. In all of Patches' appearances, he's ALWAYS been named Patches, yes, Bloodborne included. They have different voices, and while Pate and Creighton's duo-conflict is similar to Patches and Lautrec's, I do not believe they are the same. Besides...Dark Souls 2 had a different director than all of the other From Software titles, so it's likely Pate is a reference to Patches, but is a separate purrson. Pate never kicks us down any holes, and we can summon him to fight a boss, and unless we take an offense against him, Pate will does not attack us. Unlike Patches, who'll turn on the player through mere dialogue. And again...Pate is a dreamboat~ Whereas Patches is...Not.
