this is my final work for Don Seegmillers Face and Figure painting workshop I participated some time agoit finally turned out as this Picture of Persephone, sitting in the Underworld
done with Adobe Photoshop

This is AMAZING! This looks like it could be a painting hanging in a museum amidst many of the masters. Her outfit draping is beautiful. The oasis in the Underworld called by her presence is evident in the beautiful greenery growing in the otherwise dark and intimidating atmosphere. What an amazing painting!!

Gorgeous piece... Love that there's a contrast in theme.... there's a classic feel with Kore, and then a very modern vibe with the monstrous face in the background

OMG I love this! It looks like she is the only spot of light in the Underworld - which is true, as far as Hades is concerned. This is so beautiful, and very accurate with the story ^_^

Das Bild ist wunderschΓΆn!
Ganz davon abgesehen, dass dein Stil wirklich klasse ist, gefallen mir besonders ihr Gesichtsausdruck und ihre Pose sehr gut.
AuΓerdem ist es eine nette Abwechslung ein Bild von Persephone in der Unterwelt zu sehen, auf dem sie nicht wie ein HΓ€ufchen Elend melancholisch in die Gegend schaut (Ja, man merkt, ich bin ein Vertreter der Version der Mythe, in der sie bei dem Part mit dem Granatapfel nicht ganz unschuldig war...)
Auch die Details sehen wirklich gut aus.
Wie gesagt ein wirklich abslout gelungenes Bild!

My goodness... this is absolutely a tour de force. She's such a bright, beautiful lovely woman in your version of her that it's no wonder Hades stole her away. I love the contrast of her vividness with the hellcreatures behind her.

I truly love this artwork because she is in a place of despair, cruelty, horrors, and evil...In the home of the devil. Yet, she looks so pretty. A petty little pretty thing in all the uglyness. So she stands out. Yet, I love her dress. White for pure and goodness....and red for blood, hate, and evilness.(Well, love too..but let's associate it with evil things for now.) She has the dress blended..Good and evil...I love her dress and her face...and everything~ Wonderful piece of work here~
