Weapons:

- FT 3000 Roast-O-Matic Cluster Flamethrower in which Mecha-Tojira fires a stream of deadly fire from it's mouth as well as well as smaller fireball like projecties at the same time from two nozzles flanking the main flamethrower.

- X29 Ass-Kicker Retractable Gatling Guns inside both arms. These weapons fire explosive tipped ammunition that can tear through massive rock formations with ease.

- Model 5 Shark-Bite Chainsaw at the end of the tail which can easly slice through steel.

- Blitzkreig Heavy Incindiary Laser in head. The emitter to this weapon is usually covered by an T shaped metal panel to protect it from damage. The antennas on the back of Mecha-Tojira's head crackle brightly when the laser is about to be used. The laser rapidly breaks down organic matter at a cellular level. This weapon is not very effective against non-organic targets and the worst it will do is leave a nasty burn.

- Mega-Clamp-78 Pnumatic Jaws which allow Mecha-Tojira to bite down on enemies with tremendous, bone crushing force. This is a scaled up version of the Mega-Clamp 75 Pnumatic Bear Trap.

- Neutrolium power core which can power Mecha-Tojira for an estimated 200 years.

- Ultranium Crypto-Chromite armor plating which grants Mecha-Tojira unparalleled durability, able to withstand an orbital bombardment with no damage.

- Nanocrystal tipped claws which allow Mecha-Tojira to rip flesh like paper.

Weakness: Due to the semi-transparent metal panel covering Mecha-Tojira's single cyclopean eye and the Blitzkreig laser, vision is substancially decreased.

Story:

After the destruction of the Ultra-Z, the citizens of Megatropolis demanded a new first line of defense against Tojira and other threats to the great city-nation. Unable to think of anything that would work, the military publically annouced that they would have to rely on their mainline forces to try and stop Tojira and other threats. One night at a military party in which there was much drinking and smoking of mind-altering substances, one of Megatropolis's top scientists by the name of Buck Sanchez was having a dim-witted dicusssion with the General and other military officials (who where all piss-drunk at the time). The conversation went something like this:

"Hey...why dont we build a giant robot?"

" JAESUS CHRIST, Thats the stupedist idea I've ever heard..."

"Oh...ok"

Later that night however, the General arose from his bed and said "JAESUS CHRIST! Lets build a giant robot!". It's not such a stupid idea now is it, General? And so the next day the a bill was passed that construction of the anti-Tojira mech would begin immediatly. Within just 3 months, the robot was already finished and equipped with the most high tech weapons ever seen! Later that week however, Tojira rose from the depths of the Contaminated lake and attacked Megatropolis! For the citizens this meant only one thing: Imminent doom!....and a plot for a new Tojira movie. Ahem, anyway Mecha-Tojira, who now was docked in the hangar that once belonged to the Ultra-Z was ready for action. With the help of a helicopter air-lift, Mecha-Tojira was transported to the Industrial Sector where Tojira was rampaging. The mutant newt staired at his mechanical clone in awe and confusion. Buuuuuuut Mecha-Tojira didnt give his organic counterpart any time to comprehend this and immediatly opened up with a barrage of fire from it's maw which stunned the mutant amphibian. Mecha-Tojira advanced closer and began to pummle Tojira! This battle was shortlived as Mecha-Tojira picked Tojira up and literally tossed it over "The Wall" and back into the Contaminated Lake. Megatropolis celebrated it's 2nd victory against the mighty Tojira.

A few days later Megatropolis's sister city, Sargasso was under attack by a Yeti-like beast from the mountains named "Megorilla". Megorills terrorized the small village on the mountaintops surrounding the tropical paradise before attacking the fishing village below. Mecha-Tojira was deployed to Sargasso via the SDN (Sargasso Defensive Navy) Aircraft carrier "Leviathan". Megorilla bellowed at the mechanical monster and pounded his chest as a challenge to the newcomer. Mecha-Tojira responded with a mechanized roar of his own and opened fire with his X29 gatling guns! Megorilla stumbled back from the force of these explosive rounds, and the rounds that missed leveled the massive rock spires behind him! Megorilla arose and charged at Mecha-Tojira but was knocked back by a blow to the face. However the ape wouldnt quit, and rose once more and successfuly tackled Mecha-Tojira to the ground. Tourists, beach-bums, and citizens all watched in awe as the monsters battled. Who would win? The mechanized defender of man? Or the hairy, ice cold terror from the mountains? The battle began to heat up as both monsters became locked in an intense melee fight. Mecha-Tojira clamped down on Megorilla's right arm. The giant monkey howled in pain as the robot's pnumatic jaws began to crush his arm bones. Megorilla manged to free himself and toss a boulder at Mecha-Tojira who's armor protected him. The T shaped metal panel on Mecha-Tojira's face flipped open and revealed a small lens! Mecha-Tojira's cranical antennas crackled and he fired a mighy orange laser from his head! Megorilla roared in agony as the laser began to destroy his flesh at a cellular level

This near-fatal attack was haulted by the suddent apperance of a rejuvanated Tojira! Shifting his attention to his biological counterpart, Tojira opened fire with his Blitzkreig laser and Tojira too fell to his knees at the might of the weapon! Mecha-Tojira opened fire with every weapon in his arsenal at Tojira and Megorilla who rolled around on the ground in a sea of flames. However all the smoke caused by his gunfire substancially decreased the robot's vision, and wasnt aware of Tojira cralwing towards him! Coughing up a bit of his healing slime, Tojira grabbed ahold of Mecha-Tojira's head, stunning the robot. Tojira twisted the head, metal straining and groaning as the robot attempted to free itself but to no avail. With a twist and a snap, Tojira wrenched Mecha-Tojira's head from his shoulders! The mighty mech slumped to the ground, twitching occasonaly. Wounded and exhausted, Tojira cast the robot's head aside and swam back to Megatropolis. Megorilla limped it's way back to the snowy mountains, never to be seen again.

All was not lost for Megatropolis however, as helicopters began transporting the robot's remains back to the Ashton Military base for repairs. The General vowed that Mecha-Tojira would walk again!

A bit of backstory on the character: Godzilla has Mechagodzilla, so why not give Tojira his own mechanical doppleganger? The design process for Mecha-Tojira was easly one of the biggest pains in the asses ive ever done. I wanted to give it a retro look and based some of it's asthetics off of Liberty Prime from Fallout 3. The legs where the biggest problem. Ive erased and redone them so many times I've lost count. The metal studs on his legs, arms and shoulders where meant to mimic Tojira's bumpy hide, and can be paralelled to this concept art for Kiryu:
