Description An interior rendering done with indigo_06.
If I recall correctly, I let this run for 70 hours.

I really want to texture this, but it takes way too long to render.

Yeah, and there is still rendering errors around the seams. After the first day, there are no visual improvements though.

it might have taken so long due to your low amount of ram...you might want to get more....the price has really dropped

I've already gotten 4gbs now.

But yeah, ram is really cheap now. If I wasn't short on cash, I would look into getting a 64bit setup.

should take a few minutes to render something like that, what spec computer are you using to render it?

looks nice of course, as indigo always does i'm writing my own rendering software, which ought to be pretty similar.

I rendered it on a 2.8Ghz dual core with 1GB ram.

damn, that's plenty of cpu power. hmm no idea why it's so strangely slow then :/ maybe check out the newer versions? definitely check out the 64bit version if you're running a 64bit os (no idea why almost no one does, but...)

Im running 32bit. It looked good after the first day, but I left a few days longer to get rid of the noise. I could probably render it a lot quicker with the newer version and exit portals maybe.

If you mean that thing in the middle of the floor, then it's a torus knot.

Yes, 70 long hours.

I let it run in the background so I just left it going until I had something else to render.
