Do any of you think the same? In case some of you don't know, I'll fill you in. Now we all know the 1985 Schwarzenegger film Commando, right? Well originally there was supposed to be a sequel. They would have based it off of a detective novel by Roderick Thorp titled "Nothing Lasts Forever." In the film Jenny would be an adult and was working for a corporation. During the party at the building were her job is, a group of terrorists take everyone, including Jenny, hostage. It was then up to John Matrix to once again save her. Well Schwarzenegger didn't want to do it, so they changed things around. Jenny was older and the protagonists wife and renamed Holly. John was younger, a cop, Irish instead of Austrian, and they took out the atrix in Matrix and added a cClane. And Die Hard was born.
