*cackles* oh that's just awesome...I've been reading through your story...it's now 4:42 and I'm still on chapter ten, wanting to keep going, but my eyes and mushy brainmeats are screaming at me to do otherwise...*sigh* Guess I'll just have to save more fore later. ^^
Ah well. Beautifully drawn, this is. The actuators are quite impressive, and the expressions are great! My eyes are also drawn into the folds of his longcoat, for some reason or another...
*stares sleepily another moment, before adding you into her watch and wandering off to a night filled with what will most likely be strange dreams about 14 year olds and Doc Ock . . .*

*gaaaaasp* GAH! OH, I LOVE YOU, MONGO-TAO, YOU BEAUTIFUL ONCE-AGAIN-FUNCTIONING COMPUTER YOU! I am BACK, baybay! HAH! You beautiful screen, I'd kiss you, but then I'd have to worry about lip-prints and potentially lethal computer-screen bacterial infections.
ANYWAY! After a rather agonizing and very unexpected week-and-a-half with no internet access, I am back to say that oh my holy CHEESE those arms look cool. And complicated. I applaud the tenacity you have to finish those things, because I know for a fact that after finishing maybe a fourth of it I'd be distracted by a video game or a book that I wanted to read or that jar of peanut butter I'm hoarding or some silly putty or this little wind-up bird I gots named Squagie that jumps around pecking stuff or drawing something else or how many pencils I can fit on my nose at once (the record is currently upwards of thirty) or if I can walk around the whole house with thirteen books on my head without them falling off or a TV show or a sudden urge to start singing "Staying Alive" with accompanying arm movements or trying to teach myself how to do cartwheels for the umpteenth time or if I can conceivably turn my bed into a technicolor Batcave with enough scarves and lots of tape or if I can fit my feet behind my head or wow I've completely forgotten what I was talking about so I'll stop right here.
I LOVED this scene in the fic, and you draw upside-downy people good. And did I mention those arms look cool? Because they really, REALLY do.

Poor Escher. I know exactly how she feels. About her sketchbook, I mean. Though I've never been in danger of my own work being destroyed by a tentacles mad scientist with a grudge against humanity the size of a small moon, but there it is.
That's very nicely done, here. The sketchiness of the line quality adds to the slightly disturbing timbre of the scene....
*schmah* I sound like an art critic. One of those snooty people with spectacles on a rod, standing before some incomprehensible piece of epileptic cat splatter and proselitysing (I know I spelt that wrongly) on its deeper meaning through that little angular splotch right there in the upper right corner.
*clears throat. Actuators twitch reproachfully and one pokes me upside the head as if to say, Get on with it!* Right. I'm quite fond of how you draw Otto's eyes, here, with those huge dark circles under them. Mad geniuses never get enough sleep, *yawns cavernously* supervillain mad geniuses even more so. So Otto and yet so Vasquez. He lends well to that kind of style, almost disturbingly so. I'd love to see Jhonen's take on Doctor Octopus, but, sadly, the chances of that are probably astronomical....
That's enough from me, off I go to look at more of your art....

I can just hear Escher going "eee". Heh. Sweet piccu, I love upside down people. You know, I would love to see some Illu's from your fic. You're so good at making Ock look cool. *flatteryflattery* Ooh, those folds are nice, and I hate to be repeaty, but them tentacles fill me with warm fuzziness. Though that might just be the pizza.
Yay pencils.

Awesome detail, especially on the mechanical tentacles. I also love the way the folds on the trenchcoat are.
