Something on the darker end again.
A relatively new character of mine for a relatively new story of mine: The Queen of Night, incarnation of darkness and embodiment of fear.

Originally, this character started off as a male but I later thought "Why not make a female dark overlord for once?" - funnily enough, I showed the sketches to a friend and he also said "It could be a female just as well as a male." (without me saying a word, mind you).
With that thought, I changed details in the design. The horns, arms and overall figure have become more elongated and slender to reflect a bit of femininity, though not much.
While she is meant to be the ruler of all things that lurk in the shadows, the Queen of Night is not stricktly evil.
Just like fear exists for a reason, she exists for a reason, too. After all, fear reminds us to be vigilant, to watch our steps in the dark and in overcoming our fears, we become stronger and move forwards in our lives.
