I know, I know, I should be working on my trades/requests . But I am, I swear!!! I've got about six bits of art on the go, the majority of them owed to people, and I'm working on them in little bits, it's just pot luck this one was finished first, although I did start it before I opened the trade/request slots .

Anyway... spontaneous giftart for , although when I started this she was still at her old account. When I first saw her newest stallion, Fiyero, I had a very strong compulsion to have a go at drawing him, coz lets face it, he's flippin' gorgeous !!!! And here he is, with his equally gorgeous mate Athena .

I had the two horses sitting and gathering dust for a couple of weeks, coz every time I tried to draw something around them it turned into a total icky mess . But I sat down tonight and was determined to finish it .

I've still got major background block, and only sheer will-power and a very good iPod shuffle got me through this one without a breakdown . I'm still not keen on the dunes in the foreground, and I'm not entirely sure about the sea and clouds, but it was mostly experimental using the filters in Photoshop, as I couldn't get my usual method looking right as seawater . All in all, despite not being entirely happy with it, for my current state of mind it's quite an achievement .
