Description Imagine it is hot, crowded and you are in need of a drink.  The line to the free water fountain was comically long and worth the documentation.

Taken at an outdoor music/art appreciation festival in Mount Adams in Cincinnnati, Ohio, USA. This was during a continuation of the "summer of love", started in the late 1960s and extending into the early 1970s. Casual dress was the uniform, youth was the attitude.  Few knew what they wanted, but many knew what they didn't want.

Careful attention to detail will tell you much about the young, midwestern USA, residents of this era.  Taken with a Leica M2 with a 50mm F2.0 Summicron on Kodak 135mm Tri-X panchromatic film.  Did you find a dog?  Did you find the musician?

Enjoy.

The past is often more pleasant than the present.  It is a quirk of selective memory.

Man.  What a difference just a few decades makes.
Everyone in this line would be complaining or looking at their phones these days.
