Ain Jalut was definitely a really epic battle both sides took very heavy casualties. Also the whole Mongolian army wasn't annihilated because there were mongol armies fighting in china, eastern europe, and some getting ready for japan. lol Also I dont think they were really turkish but more turkic like kypchak and cuman. Also later the mamluks circassians.

yes u r right, but i meant the whole mongolian army fighting against mamluks(at paletine) was annihilated. I think the battle was epic because the invasion of mongols was for the first time beaten, but the both sides fought heroically. the mongol commander could fled from battlefield but he stayed and continued fighting side by side of his soldiers untill he was killed.

Yeah true i think its also one of the first battle involving hand cannons or hand gonnes. People claim they were from europe but this battle proves they were used by the mamlukes first.

yes it is more acceptable, because first time chinese invented firearms, and east asians had more trade with muslims than with europeans!
