Art! Finally! Sorry for the break, but my college semester has started again, so I might not be posting like I was during break

Hathien watched Lillian pace back and forth next to the large dappled stallion while she tacked him up. Thomas, Nathan and Alayna remained at Silver Stone Stables while the two women had flown to Red&Sky Stables across the pond in Europe. Rome had taken the flight fairly well. The worst part was catching the stallion out in the field to halter him for the flight! He had spotted his halter and shot to the other end of his paddock, and it took Hathien, Thomas and Lillian to corner and halter him. Now he looked back at Hathien with his ears pinned as she tightened the girth.

"Oh, suck it up." Hathien grumbled at the stallion. He had some bad vices, but there was no doubt the stallion had athleticism and skill in the show ring. Despite keeping his ears back most of the time his movements were fluid and he responded very well to leg and seat cues. He looked at her one last time before exhaling and turning his head back towards the tie rail.

"You ready to mount, Lillian?" Hathien asked the brunette woman still pacing in the barn isle.

"Huh? Yeah, I oh-!" Lilllian tripped on a stray piece of baling twine. Looking up she smiled sheepishly at Hathien. For being such an excellent rider she sure isn't graceful on the ground, Hathien thought.

With a leg-up and an angry twitch of Rome's tail the pair was off to compete in his first show. Hathien looked forward to seeing them compete, since she had given Lillian the stallion to train and ride. She was sure that they would make a formidable team, and hoped today would prove it.
