Description An image that occurred to me while explaining to a friend my anxieties about sitting alone in a room with other people.

I tried to get a feeling of claustrophobia with the geometric backgrounds that don't fit the plane, of which they cover, properly and the disjointed perspective of the walls, floor and ceiling. I tried to make it look as if sections of the back wall had fallen away in order to give a feeling of instability in the image.

The girl sat in the bubble takes the place of me in the situation, and sits at a table that doesn't fit within the perspective of the room as a whole.

The image of the standing girl with a large screen instead of a head represents the feeling that the other people in a space are all focussed on the individual, while in reality a screen only shows an image rather than watches.
