Temeraire's facial expression in this is priceless! I love the way he is snarling and his eyes look protective and posessive of Laurence wonderful!

He just OOZES over-protectiveness, and I love it. And I can't say that his actions are unfounded either. Those two have gone through a great deal of grief. I'm surprised that Temeraire doesn't just wrap Laurence up in every available quilt and keep him safe at home.

Haha, thats what I would do to laurence..that and some other things... their relationship is great. I had a whole long deep conversation about laurence and tem's relationship compaired to the other dragon/human stories. Their's is just at another level. It is realistic and cute and deep. I just re-read throne of jade. the scene where keyens has to get the spikey ball out of tem's chest and laurence is just stroking him going, "hold still my dear heart," ahhhhhhhh!!!!! its just brilliant and your drawing did a great job of capturing that essance!
