Yeah, yeah, don't patronize me and all. I know, I'm extremely lazy. But I have a lot of stuff to do lately, and I want to get a bunch of HARPG char sheets done before school starts again. x_x

So, yep, this is an ooold lineart of mine, from like.. '06 or something. Some of you might recognize it. Anyway, I'm using it because I realized I have no Arab studs, only a single mare! The horror! So, I whipped this guy up, and I'm feeling a bit more complete, lol. I may need to find a suitable brood for him to get busy with.. Teehee.

Please, no comments about the confo. This is an old drawing after all, and I know the hind leg is over exaggerated and whatnot.
Also, I tried gradient shading, just for fun. It looks like shit, though, because my computer said it had had enough, after I was about halfway through shading. So, yeah. What do you guys think of it, though? I thought it was really easy and fun, lol. Fast, too.. I did it in like two layers, lmao.

His poor tail! lol... That was my first thought looking at it... hehe...

Actually I don't think the shading style looks like crap. It has a really cool feel to it. More artsy looking.

But I must say, he looks more polish than egyptian to have a name like that. More stocky and thicker. Prefer them that way myself. Even if it is an older line art it's proportions are actually very believeable minus the tiny feets.

I agree with ~xxxEventer . I think the shading is really good! It almost has a "modern art" kind of feel to it. Or maybe I'm just trying to sound smart.

Anyway, he's pretty <3 Another awesome addition to your HARPG stables.

I actually really like the shading on this XD

How did you do that in only two layers? O_O
(yourharpg stable inspired me to go more realistic and take it more seriously.. Thanks Hazel ^^)

I don't know, lol. I was just trying to shade it fast, and I kind of just put the lineart in one layer and the coloring, shading, lighting on another. xD There was a layer for the BG, too, but yeah. If I'd actually take my time, next time, I'd like to see what I can do. :3

Lol, thanks!

Yeah o_o It still looks good XD Its kinda gradient-ed and it gives.. just a cool effect with the anatomically correct yet cartoony lineart 8D
