I was... trying out flat brushes on SAI. And attempting to improve on my painting skills. Or rather attempting to create some painting skills, seeing as I have none. >:

To be honest, I've been experimenting with brushes and painting for quite some time now, but all other attempts are too ugly/failed to see the day of light. Believe me when I say that this has been the only sort-of-successful attempt, and that it is way, way better than has been every other attempt. I don't know why it's better, maybe practice makes perfect?

Anyway, the Girl in Red belongs to . Sorry for butchering Suzie, Telly. ;A; I was just suddenly inspired to draw a cutesy girl in a cutesy red dress. Plus, I was tired of working with Cleo and blue, blue, blue all the time. I'm going to experiment on other OCs in the future, sorry Cleo XD

I couldn't resist the red roses, Cleo's favourite flower. It was a mistake that the roses are of different shades of red though, it kind of sticks out weirdly. Oh well!
