Beautiful! It reminds me of the book "Catwings" and "Catwings Return" that I used to read when I was a kid. I think it's by Ursula K. LeGuin. All the cats in the book had wings like that ^^.

Awww, she looks alot like my kittie! But not just because she's a calico, her markings are very similar to yours'
and I must say, it's a good thing mine dosen't have wings either, or else there wouldn't be a single place left for all the birds in the world! one year, some chickadees built a nest in a flower basket on our porch and she would sit by the door doing this very chipping sounding meow....I think she was mimicking them in oder to draw them close ^^

Beautiful piece and I love the color markings being carried though on the wings. We've got a calico and tortiseshell cats ourselves and I came across this saying: "Calicos and Tortiseshells are like hershey bars with almonds... a little bit sweet and a little bit nuts." They weren't kidding 👍: 0 ⏩: 1

I've never seen it used like that before, that's interesting. Maybe I'll try that and see how it works. *Likes watercolor*
