Description Here is a close-up of this beautiful Toffino Royal's head. I just love how the eyes turned out! So amazing! This beauty is a male Toffino Royal Python that I saw at the Reptile Expo yesterday (in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada). He was marked Not For Sale, but I imagine if he was for sale that he would be in excess of $1000.

I never heard of a "Toffino" before...a person commented that a Toffino is produced from crossing a Toffee Royal Python with an Albino and they can sell from 5.5 to 6.5 thousand dollars.

Staring into your snakes eyes is like staring into amber. Your snake has so much beauty. You're very lucky to have a snake like that.

He is beautiful but way too expensive (a couple thousand dollars) for me to buy him...but I hope he finds a good home eventually.

The Toffino morph is very complex and from everything I heard it's produced from pairing an albino with a toffee. It gets way deeper than that, but I see people having Toffinos listed between $5.5 and $6.5 thousand.

Thank-you so much for the Toffino info! I was hoping someone would comment who would know more about this morph. Thanks for telling me...

I don't know much about them, but then again, it doesn't seem like anybody really does. I did some digging on the forums and such to give you the info I did. I'm glad I could be some help

Thank-you! I was going to ask you if you knew anything more of this Toffino morph from your books but someone just commented that a Toffino is produced from crossing a Toffee and an albino ball python and they sell for 5.5 thousand dollars...very beautiful and very expensive.

More news too! I believe that this Toffino came from the same breeder that had that male Ivory that I took a picture of in May. I saw the Ivory on the same table and he sold for $1500. I'm glad he's found a home...

Wow, that is an expensive snake. I hope the breeder does more than just raise him up to breed. That's the trouble with being so beautiful They wind up becoming an investment instead of a pet. I remember that ivory you posted pictures of. Another beautiful snake. I am hoping to breed those myself someday. But my pythons are all still too small, at least the girls are. I have two boys who are ready to go.

Yeah, I would rather see them as a pet. That way they become a part of the family and hopefull will be loved. But snakes that are so expensive, I think most people who end up buying him will see him as an investment. I hope they love him too.

I really hope so. It would be a shame to go unloved and just be a breeding machine.

I know...that's the sad part about the reptile hobby. A lot of breeders just do it for the money. Even when I go to the reptile store to buy my crickets, sometimes I hear breeders standing around talking to each other and the employees and they're just talking about it like a business and about the money...not like they are living creatures. I find it a little disturbing. I just hope that they all eventually end up in good homes.

I think unfortunately that is true of breeders in other species as well, hence the problem of puppy mills. How anyone could do that I don't know.
