Description Well, thats one of these shots which started as quick capture with no expectations set into it and turned out very well (im my opinion ).
Just after I cleaned the aluminium windowsill on the outside, it began to rain like hell and these fine drops were formed onto the unsoiled surface of the metal. The sun was still shinig brightly so I just took the cam, screwed off the lens and held it in front of the camera - reversed, to take a macro shot (have no real macro equipment at the moment ).
Since the image is heavily cropped, I declare that the Kodak E200 must be a pretty damn good film!

I don't know if I'm gonna make a print from this...I wished to, but the aspect ratio is troublesome.

Colours are strongly manipulated, a less colourful and more natural version can be found here: Drops 'n' Metal - mono

Haha, yeah, everyone on dA ssems to love colours, even if they aren't real. That's what I found out tonight, after uploading these two images . Good to know, but somehow I still prefer the monochrome and b/w images, especially when I think of hanging them to the walls.
But I like this colour version too, and now that I know everybody likes colour, I should go and make some more prints from images like the above .

A print would sell I think. Do it.

Yay, yay!
Hmm, but how shall I inflate it to an aspect ratio of 1,5:1? I like this "natural" ratio...write something below the image? ...or matte the whole thing so that one can crop it with scissors? ...but then the wooden frame for canvas prints would't really fit...well, I could make my own one, but what about my dear customers ?

Thank you . I couldn't decide which one looks better...the coloured one may be a better eyecatcher on the screen but the monorome one looks more stylish and is surely better suited to fit into my bathroom as a print ^^ .
The first time that I used colour work like this...seems to go down well .
