On Ilium, you run into Shiala, the Asari commando that the Thorian from ME1 had been cloning. After you help her out, she kind of hits on you with this line. When it happened, I really wished I could have poked a thumb towards Garrus for the innuendo.Ah well.

I love how whoever you are romancing is quiet if they are with you. I'm surprised that Jack didn't say "BACK OFF *****" and then either kill or wound Shiara. The other love interests would say "Shepard is taken, thank you" with variations of course.

Well, at the time that I did the quest, I wasn't actually romancing Garrus yet XD But I would have at least liked to use this opportunity to drop a huge hint, y'know?
I didn't know that they'd react, though. I'll have to go back and do it later once I am romancing him, see what happens.

I would have loved to drop a hint as well. Shepard should have said something like "Sorry, I already have someone".
I don't think they do react. If you are romancing someone in ME 2 when you already are in a relationship, they are aware of it and will comment on it. In my first playthrough as a male Shepard, I accidently romanced Tali when I romanced Miranda already. I wish you could be honest and say "Sorry Garrus/Thane/Jacob or Miranda/Tali/Jack, I'm already with someone" when you turn them down. Other than that, they don't have a reaction to someone else hitting on Shepard

I agree with that too. I was pretty careful to not flirt with anyone else while Romancing Garrus, but once I did stumble into an almost romance with Thane.
What I think should happen is if you accidentally (Or intentionally) romance more than one person, they should both show up to your room and all that will happen is a really long, quiet awkwardness until they both leave.

Ah, like the confrontation in the CIC in ME 1. I wished there would be a confrontation like that. I wished that if you romanced Miranda or Jack, they will mention their relationship somehow during their fight when Shepard shows up. Something like "Shepard, you love me, right? Tell her that I'm right and she's wrong". The two will have their variations of that of course.

One of the things that was missing in ME2 was romance subplots. I mean, sure, you flirt enough times and they agree to have sex, but I would have liked if it went beyond that a bit. Maybe some lighthearted teasing from Joker or something, y'know? A little acknowledgment I guess XD idk.

I sided with neither. I picked the charm/intimidate option, whichever one was available. In my first playthrough, I sided against Miranda. During the suicide mission, I was praying she wouldn't die. Even though she was the only unloyal squadmember, any unloyal squadmember has a much larger chance of dying. She lived though, which was great

Having said that, I still tried to keep her alive during the mission. As much as I dislike her, I wouldn't put her in a position to die.
I have a "love/hate" view of her. I like how she looks, and I like how she opens up as a person, but she can be a real, pardon my French, bitch, especially to Jack. It's annoying how she sounds like she is in charge, even though Shepard is really in charge.

I agree, she can break out the bitch pretty often, especially when she challenges Shepards authority. There were so many times when I wanted to just put her in her place
