When you do this kind of artwork, I can stare at it for such a long time appreciating the small details, and the stare at it again to look the whole picture and just keep quiet, again appreciating the fact that you have an amazing style.
First of all, my brain doesn't understand how, without shades, your work have volume, but the I fgure out that is the presence of the movement in the clothes, the poses and the slightly dynamic BG, movement is the key to appreciate your works mostly, because that gaves them volume, and even better, when you add shades in the eyes and color gradients like in the hair of the 12th and highlights in her hair, again, makes the perfect way to get a great work without shading it at all. BUT IT GETS BETTER.
The small details like the clothes pledges, the butterfly design in her tights, the freckles...the eyes details again, the expressions...I can't put in words or even in a undestandeable sentence (mostly because my crappy English) but your works are way too amazing, Des, keep up with this great works ~

Ahh, Kevin .. <3
I kept your message in my messages for as long as I could, but I really wanted to reply
cause your words touched me. You leave such nice messages, I kept reading you over
and over again.
Drawing without shades is one of my favorite things to do, especially with Doctor Who arts,
I feel like it matches that theme somehow, so I.. I'm really happy that you think it has
movement. I try very hard with it !
Thank you so much for your comment, hon.. it really made me smile to read it again and again.
I'm so touched that you like my art so much. <3
