In the shadowplay, acting out your own death, knowing no more,As the assassins all grouped in four lines, dancing on the floor,
And with cold streel, odour on their bodies mad a move to connect,
But I could only stare in disbelief as the crowds all left.
I did everything, everything I wanted to,
I let them use you for their own ends,
To the centre of the city in the night, waiting for you.

yes I am a fan, well its a dark kind of song, much like most of their stuff. and this is supposed to be a somewhat sinister portrait, by the way my hair blends into the shadows at the bottom of the photo. and the general feel of it.

I'm not sure dark is the best word to describe Joy Division, but yeah, I can see more symbolism now that you've explained your own interpretation of the piece.

Moody, possibly, to be fair I don't see there music as any more moody than the cure, or even the 'mode at a push. I like atmospheric

Also, don't using the canvas editing.
Makes it look tacky.
Try adding a duplicated layer with monochromatic film grain then fade it in at 10%?
That always gives nice results for my project work

errrm, Im not really to good at the whole photoshop thing, I used gimp shop for that photo and its got deleted since, plus its an older photo on my old camera, so Im not too fussed about rediting it really. but thanks for the info ;]

The vibrant colours such as the pink and the blueabove your eyes work really well with the darkness of your hair and the rest of the image.

Nice composition and highkey. I really like the movement the photo has too (first sight on your eyes ... then observer attention goes to your lips to be finally moved toward your chest due to hair position).

oh is that you? no matter who she is, she's very pretty. she's captured in an interesting way, which offers a strange mood to the viewer.
the only thing to improve: destroy the canvas structure! it looks too artificial, good photos should not.
