Description
This is Merlin. He is a domesticated Wolf, and obviously the most beautiful animal ever. There are a metric fuckton of pictures of him in my scraps gallery, but I wanted an actual deviation of one of my photos so I did that cheap color/ black and white contrast trick. yay!Also, [link] is Merlin.

I love how by only keeping the eyes in color you made the wolf even more the focus point of this photo. Personally, using textures in a photo is something I always have loved and I like how you not only captured the texture of the wolf's fur but also the texture of the rock in the background. This must have been a hard photo to get, considering how hard it is to get a photo of an animal with its eyes completely open. Not only did you manage to get the eyes open and to look at you, but you captured a beautiful catchlight in the wolf's eyes. This is an amazing photo, keep snapping pictures!

The effect may be "cheap" as you say, but what a powerful photo. I have always loved wolves, so I got to fav this one. Good job my friend.

haha the owner is sort of strange, he seems to spend a great deal of time showing the wolf he is alpha with varying levels of success. It strikes me as a really bad idea to try to domesticate wild animals.
