Dante - Son of Sparda - the Legendary Dark Knight - Devil Hunter. He, along with his elder twin brother, Vergil, is a half-demon being born of the blood of his demon father, Sparda, and human mother, Eva. He's made a living out of hunting demons, which he does alongside his colleagues, Trish and Lady, and his nephew, Nero - he goes about dismantling them with a wide array of variable weaponry. These weapons range from his signature twin pistols, Ebony and Ivory, and his signature sword, the Rebellion, to Dr. Faust - a hat allowing Dante to use crystallized demon blood as ammunition, and Cavaliere - a motorcycle that can split into a pair of buzzsaws by the handlebars, as well as Cerberus - a set of nunchuks with the powers of fire, ice, and lightning... and that's just to name a few. Dante is notorious for his flippant attitude, as he's known to mouth off at even the strongest of foes, and he always has a witty remark or two for any of his opponents - he'll also simply shrug off injuries that would otherwise be fatal, such as headshots and (multiple) impalements, as if they have no effect on him. He also seems to love showing off and taunting enemies as much as possible, as he Despite hisowever, he isn't without his serious moments - he cares deeply for his loved ones, especially his nephew and his brother, despite the altercations they've had in the past. While he's off the clock, Dante is a very easygoing guy, always enjoying kicking back with a magazine and a nice bottle of whiskey, and seemingly having a diet of pizza and strawberry sundaes. His shop is decorated with many expensive items, like electric guitars, a jukebox, and a pool table, but despite this, he's deeply in debt - this is because he often works for free, even turning down high-paying jobs that he doesn't consider fun, opting instead to take on any and all cases involving the paranormal, regardless of pay. He often borrows money from Lady, attempting, and failing, to win his way out of debt by gambling... yet, despite his massive debt, he's somehow able to cough up enough money to decorate the shop. On top of his terrible luck with gambling, he also seems to have terrible luck with women. Regardless, there's a reason they call him the Legendary Devil Hunter - if hellspawns are combing the streets, call up Devil May Cry, because nobody handles situations like those quite like Dante - he'll eradicate them all and look damn good doing it...
