I know that she was important to the Doctor, but I don't see how he could stand all that raw emotion. Β Well, I do but I don't. Β I guess that, if I was put into his shoes with his situations and experiences, I wouldn't have put up with it. Β That, however, is just my opinion on the matter.

I understand where you're coming from. But the Doctor is the MASTER of coping: that's all he's ever done is lose and cope, so coping with raw emotion is (unfortunately) second nature to him. Also, Rose was his first constant since the Time War, she was unbelievably optimistic and able to put things behind her easily, AND she introduced him to a new family.

I am so sorry, but if you think that's all she is/does, you clearly don't understand how much Rose Tyler mattered to the whole plot/Doctor.

I understand how she did matter in the whole plot, however, I didn't like the way they portrayed her character. In my personal opinion, I feel like she didn't have to use so much emotion to the extreme to get across the effect of what her character represented.
