Thank you for the comment - don’t know the history of this vessel, but it surely had seen better days..

Old ships are more interesting than new ones... The "rusty" color is particulary attractive! I like a lot your work! My personal old "tub" is at the beginning of my gallery: "Marine cemetery" Did you watch it? It's a large old painting.

It's really better: being not very precise...Each ship has a story that one can guess.- at Copenhagen or...Cape Town.
I like wrecks.

Thanks, Masa - this one didn’t take very long to do as is often the case when things work out well..

Thank you ,Dominik! I’ve in fact just returned from a congress in St. Gallen - very fond of your country and St Gallen in particulary - the Beautiful town was filled with young, Well educated People, which were obviously doing Well - made me feel a bit proud as an European ..Thought it can’t be that bad after all.

Thanks Marcela, for commenting..I could not agree more..having said that, I Think that's the tricky part: to capture the essense of a motiv without overworking ( which I definitely tend to) the painting, and including only the elements nessecarily to make things work..Suppose that' s what separate the pro's from the happy amateurs ( like me)
