This is an illustration for Fantasy Flight Games collectible card game named A Game of Thrones, which is based on the world of best-selling author George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice & Fire.
The character is Mance Rayder, proclaiming his dominion over the land.
Illustrations for card games like this always have short deadlines, and are supposed to be viewed on a smaller scale than here.

This makes me veeeeeery happy. I'm quite taken with Mance's character, and this definitely gives me the feel.
Shame he's missing the slashed red silk in his cloak, though. That would have made it perfect. I'll just asume he changed for battle or something.

there is some great movement in this picture, all the flowing lines... there is something strange about the cloak at the shoulder, though. that's all i had to say really, it's a wonderful picture. you are very talented.

Its very cool to work on the same project as Tascha, hehe... I am not very satisfied with these ones, but keeping in mind that they are to be viewed on tiny gaming cards keeps me calm, heh
