This was a commission to paint a section for the DWB 30th Anniversary of Doctor Who issue. I was over the moon to be given the Jon Pertwee era to paint as it was my first real connection with the series - who can resist alien threats in your own backyard?!Related content

That is absolutely gorgeous! Love all the action, (I especially like that little pic of the Doctor dashing around Bessie, ready for action). The whole piece is beautifully balanced, and you've actually made the Doctor look like the Doctor, which isn't always easy.
