Ernie O'Brian is the son of Plastic Man and has inherited his stretching abilities at birth. Famously in the spotlight as Baby Plas (with his own cartoon and merchandise) and a role model and child entertainer as Kid Plas, Ernie has now moved into the big leagues and in currently being considered for a membership in the Justice League of Earth-Two in DC2 continuity.

I don't see him as arrogant. Perhaps a bit darker and more sharp wit than his father. Trying to be taken seriously may be his biggest concern.
