Description
This is one that's been sitting in my sketchbook for a long time, since the early days of doing character designs as the Art Director of the DC2 fan fiction/art site. This supposed to be the DC2 Atom design even though the only really difference from the regular Ray Palmer version is his 'shrinking belt'. But after being discouraged that the image came out looking terrible (never ever buy cheap ink pens, even if they come from the art supply store) I never finished it. I dug it out and did a revamp on it in Photoshop though and finally completed the pic.This one is dedicated to Mr. David Charlton, mastermind behind the DC2.

This was a photo I found that made a comparison between celestial patterns and microscopic neurons . Seemed appropriate. I ran a few filters over it and faded it back to make the Atom pop out more.

haha, it looked familiar, the huge difference is in the belt and I probably like yours more. Also you correctly enlarged the inks too. For some reason I thought it would look better if i had no inks but i was way wrong.
