Description This is all about my brand new lensebaby and first attempts at journalistic people pictures.

Both the girls look weirded out and a little scared mostly beause I shot this half an hour after i got the lense so figuring out how it works (RTFM) took a while and i ended up poiting the camera at the person for like 5 minutes before i actually took the shot.

I know they are not perfect sharp but MAN arent they cool?

I'm so excited it makes not studying for midterms almost worth it.

Hahah!

This is a very cool idea. Fading in on subjects with lovely expressions. The colours seem very sweet and you did a great job !

I've always been apprehensive about doing these kinds of shots, I just know if I pointed my lens at anyone their reactions wouldn't be nice (imagine a random person coming up to you and poking you in the eye, I'd imagine they'd feel like the person that had been poked).

I think I should start to bite the bullet and just shoot! The best thing I could do is take some 'contact cards' out with me (just incase people think I'm some crazy psycho perv or something).

Great shots nethertheless.

i really like the blurriness of it. I love blurry pictures cause theyre just, i dont know, theres something about them. I really love the expressions even if their caught off gaurd. and im just in love with the colors, the pink especially.

I've had my Lensbaby for quite some time (probably close to two years now). I have the 1.0 version.

I love it.

These two shots are great, they really bring out what a Lensbaby can do....all by itself, no Photoshop needed!

I just posted 3 new shots from my lensbaby....I missed the CROP, by a couple weeks

Nice lense. OK ... there's gonna be a test now about all you learned while you RTFM.

What's the first thing you should do before using the lense?

*wondering if you rmember*

Seriously, nice shots buddy.

in reference to the photo itself, all technicalities aside, it's awesome. the first thing it made me think of was a sort of before/after shot signifying a loss of innocence of some sort. the younger girl is cute and girly in pink like little girls tend to be, but the older girl dresses rebelliously as older girls tend to do. they're one in the same at different times.
