Cuban Missile Crisis, suggested by*Hildetann

P.S. A few notes, before anybody gets confused XD
1. The US did not exactly attack Cuba outright but sent reconaissance flights instead
2. Nuclear missiles were readied in the UK as part of the crisis
3. An American plane was actually shot down over Cuba
4. Firing at American planes wasn't actually Soviet/Cuban policy, they were just illustrated here for effect

The Cold War, just imagine how this could've alternatively gone. It was a time of basically everyone being scared. It was horrifying to see the many mistakes that nearly brought us into nuclear war.

Just a few years earlier he was was the life of the party, impeccably dressed. Now that ponytail is greasy from never having soap to wash it and cloths in tatters. Heβs driving the SAME car he bought back when he was still fun. Russia gave him one but it was a piece of shit. A red tapeworm is filling his guts and is too proud to get rid of it.

They were, just to help the US and the NATO allies setting up their own missile base giving distance right behind the USSR line just like Cuba agreed to help USSR to place their missiles right behind US's shores. Making a stalemate between the 2 giants whether they attack or stand down. Somethings just need to be justified in history.....

Well, besides the failed invasion attemp by USA at Bahia de Cochinos, USA also put the economic bloquade (Which MΓ©xico decided not to follow or acknowlege.)

oh! if you care for another Idea how about the war of 1812, lots of good stuff like the burning of the original white house, the defense of Baltimore (origin of the nation anthem) or the crushing blow at new Orleans for the Brits.
