Oh this is one of my favorites of your island pictures so far. A lighthouse? And what else? Does it receive a lot of harsh winds, or is it sheltered from the usual bitter beatings?

This is a lighthouse on the small island of Bressay, which lies across from Lerwick, Shetland's only town. I am not sure if anyone actually stays there any more as all the lighthouses became automated many years ago. I do know the lighthouse near me, in Eshaness, they rent out the house to tourists, and it is really popular.
I would imagine the winds at this lighthouse will be pretty high at times. I took this photo looking across to the lighthouse from the ferry to Aberdeen.
