Beautiful. This is a commish? I can't imagine anyone random person at a meet making this much effort in something. Oh, I understand it's how you do your livelyhood, but when it comes down to it, a line drawing is hard enough to invest your time into. That you pull out all the stops... if you have the time to respond, how much (there abouts) did this picture wind up costing the commissioner? And do you consider yourself paid in full for the amount of time you spent working upon it?

I only paid her $60, though I left the background up to her creative freedom. I think it was worth a lot more, myself, I have no idea how much time it took her, she works fast, I can tell you that

The tail ruffles are so realistic. They stick out to me from a picture filled with details and subtleties.

When I look at this artwork it puts me in mind of characters from books by Charles DeLint. Especially from "Someplace to be Flying". Not that it reminds me of a specific character, but the kinds of characters that he writes about. This mix of Corbae and Canid is very well done and I love this picture. The way her face and posture identify her as a curious and unique individual with her mix of animal traits is nicely done and in a beautiful way.

this is truely amazing art. I love the different colours and how they go together. And teh tail is amazing. at first I was like, well, it's awesome, but..is that a tail?? then I was like..it doens't really suit her, but then I realized that it really did!...totally a journey at looking at this! I like how you can see the hair on the tail move with the wind! truely awesome!

Though it looks like you spent lots of time and thought on the tail and then just quickly added on the rest. like you ran out of time or something. It makes the tail look out of place and the picture unbalanced.

... I'm certian it's been said twenty times already in the comments, but I want to squish her tail it looks so fantastically fluffy. The blues you touched in there are fantastic. The rest is nice too, but the attention to detail in the tail is what keeps grabbing my attention.
