likes to sit in hands. :3 3 1/2 inches long. polymer clayedit: A lot of people have been asking about the paint. It's an Adirondack alcohol ink. I got it at Michaels.

I've tried this ink on one of my sculpts and it was a disaster,lol. I wound up painting over it, hehe. I'm wondering if you used something other than the bottle itself to apply the ink, a syringe perhaps?

amazing job! i have a looong way to go before i understand how to use polymer clay to make dragons this good^^ I have tried but i could never make anything as smooth and amazing as this! its like marble texture!

Nice use of the alcohol ink for color. I saw an article in PolymerCafe magazine about using those on the clay...the author said the results can be unpredictable, so I imagine it would be hard to duplicate it exactly. on the other hand, that's what makes it one-of-a-kind.
I wonder if the ink would work on Yupo paper since it is nonporous? Must experiment next week when I get back into my classroom...funfunfun!

I have no idea what Yupo paper is. 
Yeah, the ink is rather unpredictable, but that's why I like it. It's like watercolor texturing. You can guess what you're going to get, but you never really know.

Yupo is a synthetic paper--I think polypropylene. I've used it for watercolor, but it doesn't behave like regular paper because there is no absorption, only evaporation of the paint. You can easily fix mistakes, even with 409 cleaner. I'm having some of my students in Art 3/4 play with it this year. You can buy it at Dick Blick, which is where I got it, but maybe the site you order from (which I will be checking out) will have it. Also, I'm sure you've heard this before, but I think you're fabulously talented.
