Based on The Dragon's King fanfic by ButterflyKika!This was actually only intended to be a rough sketch for designing Astrid's new ax...
But it grew on me into a sketchdump of just bits and pieces of the story here and there.
I kind of liked it, so decided to post it as my first Deviantart submission.

I took the pic with an iPhone, hopefully the writing is still legible...
P.S. I'll actually be doing something in color for this fanfic, sometime later...

I just saw your picture of Hiccup in Buterflykika's deviantart folder and it looks amazing btw. 
As a sidenote, I was also imagining Hiccup would have Toothless-like eyes - green sclera and black pupils...
