Katana (*Hikari-Katana ), Graywolf (~graywolf34 ) and Shelverrman (~David-Grant )
Jessie's Costume:
Red wig (Ebay, trimmed by Katana's Mom), white turtleneck shirt (Thrift store, modified by Graywolf), black sports bra (Wal-Mart), long black gloves (Party City), white skirt (Goodwill), thigh-high black boots (Ebay), and a Pokeball made from a bouncy ball painted with acrylic paint.
James's Costume:
Purple wig (Ebay, trimmed by Katana), white turtleneck shirt (Thrift store, modified by Graywolf), black work gloves, black arm covers (made by Graywolf), black bare-arm shirt (Wal-Mart), white pants (Wal-Mart), clip belt (Wal-Mart), black shoes, black boot covers (made by Graywolf), and a fake rose from our Mom's stash of artistic supplies.
Captain Hammer's Costume:
You'll have to ask Shelverman about that one.

duuuude your Team Rocket costumes look AMAZING. Even though Jessie's hair isn't just like the show, I think it really works this way. Her hair is a little too ridiculous anyway. XD

*happy dance* Yay! I am REALLY happy with how our costumes turned out so well....and that they were so very popular too! I must say that, even though I couldn't be as accurate with the hair, it was MUCH more comfortable. (Why must anime characters have such INSANE hair?!)

They're pretty amazing especially considering they're mostly thrifted. They look entirely hand-made. (You got me on that one, man ><; YGO and Pokeymans tend to be worst. haha)

*grins* Yay! I'm working towards crafting entirely from hand, but I like having the Thrift items as a base.
Yeah, so far the only picture that I've seen of Daniel and I in costume at Nekocon is the glomping one. We have two or three other pics of us OUT of costume, but that's about it. I'll need to score the net for more.

It's surprisingly about as easy to work from scratch as it is to modify. You wouldn't think so... but the cool thing about working from scratch is, you don't have to seam-rip anything XD ...though you do have to actually work from scratch, heh. But once you've done a basic pattern a couple times (like say, pants), you can pretty much whip it out from memory whenever you need to, and modify it as you see fit (like my criminally short Zakuro shorts... they were modified from the Danielle Phantom pants pattern! haha).
I'm sure there are more pics of you guys out there ^^ Are you going to MAGFest, by any chance? It's at the same spot as Katsu, but it focuses a lot more on gaming than anime.

Yeah, this fall I'm going to start working on learning how to sew and make things from scratch. Then maybe I can actually enter my costume in the costume parade one year!
I don't think I'll be going to MAGFest since it's so close to Katsucon. But thanks for letting me know about it.
