This turned out ... very turquoise. xD But since that is one of the important colors in Midna's scheme, I guess that's allright!
So, yesterday I listened a lot to the Beatles <3 I was very inspired all of a sudden and went ahead to draw ... Midna?
Yeah! x3 I've been wanting to create a design for her younger self for a long time but YET I haven't shown it to you. But I was really satisfied with this picture, so even if it's not all worked out with coloring and so, I wanted to submit it!!
Really ... It's been long since the last time, and there's so much that I don't show you 'cause it's not all finished and stuff.
But this is kinda journal talk Back to the subject!

What I wanted to achieve with this was to create a nice-looking silhouette, and therefore I worked a lot with the shapes. Again, I really like the result! It's clearly my fav out of the young Midna piccies I've drawn.
I think she's so cute!
I always thought her appearance resembled her imp form quite a lot when she was young.
I'd like to talk about the design as well. The following "theories" are partly based on what others have said, but mostly on my own imagination.

TWILI DESIGN THEORIES
Twili usually wear "shadows" for clothes, and by shadows I mean dark patches on the skin.
(Originally 's idea, I believe).
They are shaped around the body in a way that mostly serves for covering up "the naughty bits".
Those who have a high position in society, such as royalties, wear clothes made of fabric as well. They are designed so that all (or most) of the glowing runes on the body are exposed. The glowing runes, I've figured, are as different from one Twili to another as fingerprints from one human to another, and they are a sign of the Twili's possession of magical abilities. Thus, every Twili has unique powers.
Zant's clothes doesn't expose any glowing runes, according to this theory that means he has none. But I came up with the idea that his powers are in his clothes, and that has something to do with him being a minor of Ganondorf ...

I designed Midna's clothes according to this "theory". It's not that I think I'm right about it, it's just something I came up with for fun, and perhaps I'll use the facts in a fanfic someday.

The "crown" in the upper right corner is just to ignore, as it has nothing to do with Midna's design, but was just something I drew while trying things out. The same goes for the drawing on top of Midna's face close up, it depicts nothing in particular.
