Tony was speechless. If this was a genie, then maybe Martha was a genie too. And Stefania seemed to have known this. Why didn’t she tell him earlier? What else was she hiding from him?

Stefania on the other hand took the situation with more ease. “Greetings! I thank you for the wish. But at the moment, I just need an information: I’m looking for my friend Martha, who is also a genie. Her Lamp stands next to yours. But she’s not inside and she has not been seen today at all. Now I worry about her. Do you know something about her whereabouts?”

“Another genie, you said? Haven’t seen one in centuries. Unfortunately I don’t know where she is. But a few hours ago, I heard two women talking outside. Suddenly, there was a loud noise, like a roaring. And one of the women shouted in fear. For a few moments, the roaring became more high-pitched. Finally, with a ‘thump’, the shouting stopped and the roaring was back to its normal sound. Soon, the roaring stopped and there was silence again.” Sami explained.

“A roar...” Tony muttered. “Could that be a vacuum?”

“I thought that too!” Stefania replied. “Where does the cleaning stuff store its equipment? Let’s have a look. And you come with us, Genie!”

It took them a few minutes to find the broom closet. Unfortunately the door was closed. But Stefania knew a solution. “Sami, I wish that you’ll unlock this door!” she said.

“Your wish is my command!” Sammy said. With a ‘Click’, the door went open. Inside were indeed four vacuums.

“Martha? Are you here?” Stefania called. A weak response could be heard. Stefania called again and listened carefully. Finally she found the vacuum Martha was trapped inside. “Martha, what happened?” she asked.

“It was the maid. She wished that she can trap genies inside her vacuum forever. And then she sucked me inside. I can’t use my magic here inside.”

“All right, I’ll try something.” Stefania tried to open the vacuum but to no avail.

“It’s magically sealed!” Martha explained.

“Ok, than I need magic too!” Stefania replied. “Sami, I wish that you will release Martha from her prison.”

“I’m sorry mistress, but you already got your wish.” With these words, Sami turned into smoke again and returned to his lamp.

Totally energized, Stefania turned to Tony. “Tony, you haven’t had a wish yet. Please go back, rub the lamp and wish for Martha to be released from the vacuum.”

“I can’t even think this will work!” Tony replied. He definitely had problems to understand what was going on here.

“Tony, Martha is your friend too. Do it for her!” Stefania pleaded.

“Alright!” Tony said and left the broom chamber. A view minutes later, he returned with Sami in tow. “What shall I do now?” he asked.

“Say: I wish that Martha will be released from the vacuum, never to be trapped inside again!” Stefania explain.

“Here goes nothing: I wish that Martha will be released from the vacuum, never to be trapped insided again!” Tony repeated.

“You wish is granted, master!” Sami replied and blinked.
