Recently someone faved and commented on this REALLY old picture I have up here and it got me thinking about the show it was from. The Sea Prince & the Fire Child--it's been one of my all-time favorites since I was about 6 years old, before I even knew what Anime was.As you can see I'm not finished with this, but I'm really excited about it so I wanted to post a WIP. I also have a couple sketches including this one that I'll put up in scraps.
So for now, a sort of "cell" ish image, or whatever. I still need to do the shading and background.
Not sure if I should MC this or not... I think it's innocent enough.

Nice picture! Your rendition of Malta is so pretty, plus I'm a major fan of "Sea Prince and the Fire Child". Is this picture going to be finished soon?

Oh I remember her! it was a beautiful animation. (and was long time ago!)

Oh, it's really sad. Which makes it wonderful. It's a romeo and juliet type story with the same sort of ending. 'cept it has more to do with magic than poison and stabbing.
