My first time drawing a pony!!! u w u They're actually really fun, and good for studying a lot of concepts without having to fuss over anatomy too much xD I hope she doesn't look really bad!! I literally was just like, practicing using action lines and trying to get the pose to flow, and all of a sudden I gave it a background and started painting it. u 0 u' And then I let it take me way too long to finish. It ended up being Everfree Forest because forests are like my fallback thing to draw in a background, siiiigh. Because I don't have to do any perspective. But I have to stop hiding from it eventually... e w e

I also drew Angel's proportions all wrong because I didn't use reference, I'm sorry!!! ;_; I kind of added him to the sketch last minute...The picture also ended up a bit darker than I originally intended...oh well. Does anyone have any tips on NOT making a picture end up TOO light or TOO dark? I have a hard time making it balanced but also having contrast. u ~ u
