Description
Drawing somewhat dedicated to the full release of Starbound, 1.0.Using again, another different style of colouring and procedural approach.
I don't even play as the Novakid race, but boy did I like their concept art when it originally came around.
Yeah, the resolution is a bit bigger on this one than I normally would work with, and for no particular reason.
I'd have worked on this one a bit more, but I've taken quite a bit of time- and I like the way it is, the rest of the work would just be cleaning up stuff really. Far from perfect, of course, but I'm pretty happy.

Like seriously, for every picture I see of another race, there's 3 more of the Novakid.
Not hating on the race, just wondering why they are so popular.

If you think about it, the Novakid really are tiny living stars. That shoot people.
Putting it into perspective, they literally are the quintessential 'Space Cowboy', which is pretty funny.

This turned out amazing! I really love the style and the action pose. It did right away make me think of the Novakid concept art. The lighting effects turned out great, too! I'd love to feature this in my Starbound group if you'd allow it.

I play as a Hylotl, I really like the characters' aesthetic and always did like their design. Didn't even know they were based on Japanese stuff when I originally chose one way back when Starbound was still in early development.

how funny, I main as a Hylotl as well 
plus there's also the fact that you can use one to make a Kermit The Frog character, grab a banjo, and install The Rainbow Connection like I did ._.
