He is muscular and strong, but not as active and in shape as many other members of the pack. He has a natural hunch to his stature, and a slow, hefty walk. He never met his mother, and fears she may still be out there. As he grew up, he was treated harshly, and never taught how to love or appreciate another. His father would disappear for weeks at a time, claiming to be gone on business, and dealing with the rouge empire (which has since fallen). After one of those absences, his father returned with a young female pup, just a few months behind Basilius in aging. Basilius was forced by his father to mistreat his sister in hopes of "molding" him into a good leader. However, this was doing the exact opposite. After his sister disappeared into the commons of the pack land-- leaving Basilius alone with Nertach for the rest of his yearling hood--Basilius learned to shut out all emotion and focus on one thing: Becoming Alpha. Unfortunately, when the time came for him to fight his father for the throne, a low-ranking wolf called Anais attempted to do so herself. She claimed to be the rightful owner of the throne, a descendant of the Starry Banes themselves. Of course, this was seen as a revolt rather than anything else, forcing Basilius to chase her (and her supporters) off into the outlands. On this day, many fought amongst the pack, and there were lives lost. Because of this introduction to the outlands, a strange virus was obtained and brought into the Banes' territory, wiping out many citizens, including Basilius' father Nertach. Upon Nertach's death, Basilius assumed the throne and has been working to grow his pack back to full capacity since. ☽Personality Strengths: Basilius is Conscientious. He tries his hardest to be well organized, and has a strong desire to fulfill his pack's needs as a whole. He is careful when it comes to planning, and takes much into consideration before acting. That is, when he isn't angered. He is self-disciplined, and can channel his depressive moods into hard work. Basilius is Passionate. For the things he cares about, he cares hard. Basilius will waste no time to keep things in order, and will stop at nothing to protect those that he holds close. This also means that everything that he does has meaning, and he seldom acts irrationally (though it may appear that way to others). Basilius is Honest. He has no fear in being straightforward with others, which comes in handy of cutting down on slack and getting straight to the core of any issue. This is one of his strongest traits, and helps keep him respected, as not many possess quite the level of candor (no matter how brutal) that he does. This is useful for his rank, as well as for the benefit of the pack. ☽Personality Weaknesses: Basilius is Complacent. Basilius has a strong power of manipulation over others, and rarely shows emotion when doing so. He struggles to see any error in his ways, and is very stubborn when self-assessing. He is easily pleased with his work, no matter how dangerous or brutal he may have acted. Basilius is Neurotic. He has an overall tendency to experience negative emotions. He is very pessimistic and lets himself wallow in grief for too long. He prefers to feel down and depressed than uplifted and/or excited.
