LOOK I MADE ARTSTUFFS! Fear me!My half of an art-trade with the gorgeous ~thaurendim , because she uploaded a sketch of her half yesterday and it was so gorgeous that I felt guilty immediately and had to sit down and draw this today. It is her character from here , whose name I don't believe I know but he is so sad-looking and squishy and I love him. ;o;
I realize I fail epically at perspective and backgrounds and bald squishy people, but - I'm kinda happy with this anyway, and I hope you are too, Thaurendim! I haven't shaded stuff with pencil/that rolly paper crayon blendy-thing for forever.
I think most of those brushes are from *asunder , but I don't remember all of them. D:

Wow, really lovely! I love the softness that the blender gave the shading (and indeed, squishiness X) ) and the composition of it is just really nice in all! (Although the lower left hand section does feel a /wee/ bit empty in contrast to the wing dominating the upper right hand/side section.) Very somber and gothic, but very arresting.

Despite what you say about not being able to draw backgrounds, I think the background is one of my favourite elements of the picture. The colour looks wonderful with it. I love that it looks like membrane of some kind- full of eyes that look like cells in places. It's all very interesting and adds to the atmosphere of the picture.
Awesome job on his torso. o.o The positioning looks perfect, and the details on his chest. His hand, I think, looks a little big, even for the perspective, but apart from that this is wonderful. I love the eye/cel type thing on his hand, as well. Great job drawing those. I love the texture.

NICE. I love the... whatever it is in the hand, and the lines all around it, and how the palm looks actually looks calloused and a little dirty. The textures on his skin and the wing look lovely. My personal favorite part of it is definitely that wound in his hand, though. Whatever it is.
All the wounds and stitches and scars look really good, and I quite like the way he's framed at the top with the stone archway. It looks like the viewer is pressed up against a stone wall looking through a window at him, which gives this feeling like I'm looking at something private and secret... And he just caught me staring.
