Nothing special, just an updated version of Kelsie's bio. This also means that the older version will either be moved into Scraps, or deleted. The latter choice is the more likely.

Kelpies are some of my favorite mythological creatures...though I'm not exactly 100% sure why. It might be that they're kind of like horses (and yes, I love horses), but downright evil (and yes, I love evil creatures, too) . Or perhaps it's because of how they often look when illustrated...I like me some black and boney, evil-eyed fanged horses with long, weedy manes. Meh, whichever it is, Kelpies are just freakin' badass.

So, of course, I had to make a Kelpie OC.

The name is slightly explanatory. Kelsie is pretty damn close to Kelpie, just switching out the "p" for an "s," while Nix is a creature from German folklore. Exactly like a Kelpie (as in, being a water-dwelling monster that drawns humans in, then drags them to the bottom of the lake, river, etc. so they drown, and then eats them), except that Nixes are usually very pretty women. Seeing as Kelsie will be drawn to look more human than horse, I thought it fit rather nicely.

I'm really excited to draw her (but then again, don't I say this for every OC?), and she'll pose the same challenge as Sapientia: both of them are depicted with some very defining ANIMAL characteristics, but yet they must look mostly human. I'm thinking Kelsie will be getting some horse ears, webbed fingers, and then hooves for feet (perhaps cloven like a goats...), and definitely a mane of hair (so, reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllly long hair haha).

Skullette was, again, designed by yours truly. She's got some fangs because she eats people (duh), somewhat horse-like ears (hey now, I did my best fidgeting around with Clawdeen's!), and some scales because she's a water-dweller. No bow or nothing for this girl, though.
