This is the very first time for me, and I have to thank my brother to teach me how to use it.

I really like Downton Abbey, and Anna is maybe my favorite character. She's good and strong, and she would be a great character even without her love story. Thing that you can't say about many characters whose romance is so importatnt. That's why I like her more then her romance.
Her declaretion of love is just amazing: so simple and unexpected, without any trace of melodramatic sweetness.
So, this is an Anna/Bates fanart, but it's more an Anna one

I like Anna very much, even if she's not my fav character... if I had to pick the most likeable character based on their personalities, it would be Anna. Somehow she just comes across as the most sensible person in that whole house.
As to Mr Bates... lets just say I like him better after season 3. The whole evil-wife story just got on my nerves in the end now that it's over I can start viewing him from a new perspective.

Oo it has varied over the seasons really, at first it was Matthew, then Branson and Sybil... but I think the one that's had the biggest impact is Thomas Barrow, I just love how this character has developed, it isn't just a shallow evil footman story, there's more to it and Rob James Collier has made a wonderful job portraying him.
I really like Cora as well oh and Carson.

Mwahaha oh yes Mary is great, a lot of people find her a bit well like you say .. in burning mood. But I guess I find her too much like myself to ever find that abother. I usualy agree with her.
Matthew can drive me mad with his chivalry sometimes though
