Description Another comparison, this time of BvS: DoJ's Batman.

Seriously, judging from the trailer(s), the dude's so jacked-up that you'd be forgiven for thinking it's Bane inside that suit(a suit that still looks like it's made of leather and duct-tape). I mean, I'm not against Batman having muscles by any stretch of the imagination(though, last time I checked, he relies more on agility and technique than physical strength), but Holy Jesus Tap-Dancing Christ!

Also, apparently, one of the reasons for casting Ben Afleck as Batman was to have Superman have to look up to him(both literally and metaphorically, by my guess... which is a terrible idea for too many reasons)...

Batman belongs to DC Comics and Warner Brothers.

I blame the Miller aspects ;;;

And honestly speaking, this is meant to be an older, more angry Bruce Wayne...LIKELY before he got Tim Drake and he mellowed out ;; Remember, in the comics, after Jason was killed, Batman went into a period of rage and Tim relaized that he NEEDS Robin around him sa a way to keep him from going too far off of the deep end.

AFter all, in this series, apparently he was the reason why Joker has metal teeth (he beat his face so bad, they all broke)

As do I.

That would be all well and good, but they're very clearly basing this movie's Batman on the version from the "Dark Knight Returns," where Tim Drake never existed.

............... How that hasn't happened in the mainstream universe by now is beyond me...

True...

Honesly wouldn't mind having TIm finally appear in a movie...seriously, he's better than Carrie as Jason's succesor ;;

That may be true, but it seems that the folks up at DC/WB do mind, since it looks like they might be going with Carrie instead(also, rumor has it that this version of the Joker will actually turn out to be Jason)...

Zigwolf In reply to Shadow-DJ [2016-01-26 21:06:37 +0000 UTC]

It is mostly a rumor. People are using Jason from Arkham Knight to try and make this rumor fly. Just because he has a banded J on his cheek and Jared Leto's Joker has a J tattooed on his cheek, people think Jason is Joker for the DC cinematic universe.

Plus this rumor probably won't be true if the next Batman movie is based on the Red Hood like some rumors claim.

Shadow-DJ In reply to Zigwolf [2016-01-26 21:33:12 +0000 UTC]

It's not a tattoo in the game it's a scar so that makes no sense at all. I mean...it was a brand by the JOKER. It was meant to be an insult to BAtman in the game.

Plus why would the writers on Rocksteady give that iea to a movie studio? ;;; It was meant to be a way for Bruce to fully recongize Jason as the original, and not as a clone ;;

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Zigwolf In reply to Shadow-DJ [2016-01-27 02:47:18 +0000 UTC]

Exactly, the only similarity is the it's J's on face, and that's where the comparisons end.

I just think it's a few overanalyzing fans faults that this kind of rumor came out. I mean right now fans love to analyze and speculate everything, the smallest scenes in trailers and the smallest details in a character's appearance lead to the most craziest

Zigwolf In reply to Shadow-DJ [2016-01-27 19:19:48 +0000 UTC]

Exactly, this rumor was started before we got the first trailer and only had the pictures of Joker to speculate with. Now that we've seen more, this rumor is looking more and more implausible.

Ah, now I see. Well I'm not sure they're gonna go that route since people were going crazy over what Superman did to Zod in Man of Steel. It might be crazy to do that again with another hero who's suppose to have a no kill rule.

Shadow-DJ In reply to Zigwolf [2016-01-30 00:50:30 +0000 UTC]

IN Supes' defense, there was LITERALLY nothing else he could do in that situation.

Zigwolf In reply to Shadow-DJ [2016-01-30 23:23:41 +0000 UTC]

I agree. I'm always defend that moment when it comes to people calling Superman a killer.

I defend it with "even if Superman stopped this, how would he stop Zod after that ? Kryptonite isn't discovered yet, magic is hidden away, and Superman can't keep watching and fighting Zod 24/7 to keep him from destroying the world and there's no prison on Earth that can hold him."

Plus I think this will lead to Superman's no kill rule instead of having it right from the start. He killed once and he never wants to do be forced to do that again.

Shadow-DJ In reply to Zigwolf [2016-01-30 23:31:33 +0000 UTC]

I am thinking tha as the thing...

Heck, in the old comics, ZOD WAS A REASON WHY CLARK BECAME LESS LIKELY TO KILL! In the comics, he was forced to send them back to what would eseentially be a death sentence...and he hated what he had to do...

Of course, people forget the Reeves Supermna killed Zod too: (with a clip from the Donner Cut no less)

www.youtube.com/watch?v=LakXRQ…

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Zigwolf In reply to Shadow-DJ [2016-02-02 05:55:25 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, and there was one instance where Superman had to kill Zod and his cronies because it was a death sentence for killing a planet of 5 billion.

Yeah, Reeves' Superman did the same and no one cares to bring that up and he did it in a worse way where Zod was depowered, hand was crushed, and was then thrown into a chasm.

Shadow-DJ In reply to Zigwolf [2016-02-02 06:01:17 +0000 UTC]

And people are still going with the BS thing with the 'Artic Police'...I am pretty sure that was deleted, wans't it? It was just put into the TV version for some god-knows-why reason and i was taken out because of how stupid it was...

Honestly I cuont the THEATRICAL VERSION As the real version ;;; So yeah...Zod and his goons fell down into a deep pit in the middle of the arctic where it is likely colder because they fell into a pit below the surface. With Zod landing legs first, Non landing face first and Ursa landing back first. So if not dead right away; Zod would have a broken hand and likely his entire lower body destroyed, Non wuld have massive chest damage and other damage to his front area and likely fractured bones and Ursa would have a concussion at the very least. If death wasn't instantanious, it's a slow and painful one.

I had no idea about that til I checked the video you linked to. That was so weird and I wonder why anyone would include that in any type of edit.

Damn, when you really think about it, just falling into an abyss is nothing compared to what happens when you think about what'll happen to them when they reach the bottom.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Shadow-DJ In reply to Zigwolf [2016-02-03 12:34:09 +0000 UTC]

And we don't see the bottom, so we don't know how deep it is, but it's in a crystal structure which was, if I remember right, destroyed? I haven't seen Superman II in awhile, so I could be off.

But really....ARCTIC POLICE?!?!?!?!?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Zigwolf In reply to Shadow-DJ [2016-02-03 21:40:14 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I don't remember either. Plus I looked into this another stupid idea like the Artic Police happened in the Richard Donner Cut, Superman goes backwards in time (again) and stops Zod and the others from escaping the Phantom Zone. That pretty much makes the whole movie a big waste of time since now nothing happened.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Shadow-DJ In reply to Zigwolf [2016-02-04 00:28:21 +0000 UTC]

That is eqally dumb and insulting.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Zigwolf In reply to Shadow-DJ [2016-02-04 21:07:32 +0000 UTC]

Exactly, I always hate it when time travel stories do that, but this wasn't even a time travel story and they did it anyway and with no reason other than "Superman Doesn't Kill" and we backed ourselves into a corner. They also did it in the first movie but that felt a little bit more justified because it reversed Lois' death, made sure a dam didn't break and drown people, and didn't change the entire movie.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Shadow-DJ In reply to Zigwolf [2016-02-04 21:15:03 +0000 UTC]

Here's my idea with the four robins:

Dick Grayson: has a good sense of humor, very skilled in hand to hand and detective skills, and acts as a mix of his YJ And 2003!Teen titans versions. In that he's a bit of a goof off and enjoys hanging out wtih his friends in the Titans, but can get serious when the situation arrises and has a VERY Strong hatred for the well-known assassin, Deathstroke. Has his main weapon of choice with his Eskima Sticks, which can tunr into a bo-staff with electric tips when he connects them.

Jason Todd: As a Robin, Jason was a punkish kid who looked up to Batman and Dick (similar to the DCAU's Tim Drake), but as Red Hood, he went from a deadly assassin in the League of Shadows after he was getting his enough of his mindset back, he now has to deal with the blood thirst that the first-time user of the Lazarus Pit had given him. Jason then uses his skills in combat, which is mor advanced than the later two Robins, and prefers to use fire arms thta later get replaced with energy-based weapons when he gets something from Cyborg durg his brief tenor with the Titans.

Tim Drake: Is a prodigy with computers and an avid mystery fan, has a great interest in forensics and other mystery-based studies and enjoys reading when not on a mission, but still has some skill. But unlike his two predecessors, he's more like a ninja in that he prefers using his wits than his physical skills (As he's not as fit as the acrobat and street brawler being an average teenager) and uses traps and others things like htat. HIs weapon of choice is the bo staff and it extends into a shield to protect himself from gunfire.

Damian Wayne: As a former assassin in-training of the League of Shadows, Damian is a very angry young man that many of the older heroes would associate with a rookie Batman. He's like the movie versions in that he is actually growin close with his dad and the agents o Young Justice, but still dislikes Tim Drake. BUT as a memberof Young Justice, he has to associate himelf with mostly kid heroes such as MAry Marvel and Bart Allen, who try and give him a more open mindset. Of course, he finds them annoying but he does start to warm up to them XP

I just hope that they don't make Billy Batson an uber-angsty douche-basket like he is/was/still-might-be in the "New 52."

Speaking of, in my take, BIlly is a BIG time fan of the Trinity and uses all three as an influence on his hero persona, Captain Marvel. Here's how;

Promidently Red costume (since one of Superman's main colors is red XP), a very militant-style of appearance (like Wonder Woman's amazon-esque look maing her look ready for battle) and his cape, gloves and the like look more practical than just super hero-y (like how Batman has stuff that can be practial). He also tries to use their mehtods as he is learnig under the League;

If he wants to deal with criminals, he'd use as ort of interrogation method that Superman and BAtman would use; Basically speaking, an logical extnetion to the whole 'leaning htem from a roof' thing...INSTEAD he is literally several feet from hte ground with the mook being held by his collar as he is interrogatingh im He also uses his connection on the streets as Billy Batson and at WHIZ radio to get information, so he's kinda like a kid-version f Clark Kent in htat regard xP His 'street connections' being what you'd expect any runaway kid to be...hobos And of course, he has Tawny...who's disguise is a kitten that Billy takes with im, but becomes a sort of Humanoid Tiger Gladiator-styled fighter in his true form

Sorry for going off on a tangent there ;; But yeah, the big ting I am working on right now is the whole thing with Cassandra and Damian ;;

Mostly because I am curious on how to have the two be like ;;; SINCE I am thinking that Cassandra could be a deserter of the League who was raised along with Damian, but was mute so she couldn't really comment on what RA's was doing ;; SO I am curious on how CAssandra would fare on meeting the GCDP team ;;; You know...Gordon, Bullock, Montoya and the like ;
