How's it different to an LMS Stanier Black 5?

I don't really know what the difference is, but it's possibly something to do with the valve gear set up, because the Jubilee's were express passenger locos, whereas the Black 5's were general purpose locos.

Nice! Is that the livery called Crimson Lake? I believe the 2700 I recently photographed is to be redone in that colour.

I believe it is Crimson Lake, but normally just referred to as LMS crimson. I don't know about 2700 though.

Thanks for the comment Neil. Because I was slightly lower than the wheels it was the easiest place to focus on.
